The Equipment Cost module provides an effective means of charging equipment costs to jobs. It also tracks maintenance costs, revenue, and actual costs incurred against each piece of equipment and its components. Equipment usage may be recorded through Payroll entry or the Equipment Costing module. Equipment costs come from Accounts Payable, Payroll, Inventory, General Ledger, or Equipment Costing. You can track multiple maintenance tasks for each piece of equipment. Construction companies with a sizable investment in equipment obtain accurate costing, maintenance, and profitability information for their equipment.Management Tools Cost code formatting allows the tracking of multiple costs for each piece of equipment. Tracks idle time usage, repairs, rest and other. Provides complete cost history for each piece of equipment. Provides equipment profitability reports on each piece of equipment or by equipment grouping. Location inquiry lists the last known location of a piece of equipment. Prints maintenance work orders with extensive descriptions and material requirements. |
